This is an easy to moderate hike on well-groomed trails to a waterfall and great spot for a riverside snack. We will hike 3 loops for a total of 7.6 miles.
West on Fawn Lake Rd for 1⁄4 mile, left on Mine Mtn Trail; sharp right to stay on Mine Mtn until a left on Laurel Ridge Trail. Keep right on Laurel Ridge until a right on Corn Mill Shoals to Bridal Veil Falls. Return on Bridal Veil Falls Rd; short right then sharp right onto the Barn Trail shortcut to Shelter Rock Trail. Left on Corn Mill Shoals to a snack along Little River. Backtrack on Corn Mill Shoals; right on Shoals Trail; right on Cart Trail; right on Mine Mtn; and right on Fawn Lake Rd back to car. Max elev: 3100’. Avg moving pace: 2.5 mph. Difficulty (1=effortless, 10=hard): 4.
