Flat Creek Falls is a series of drops and cascades on Flat Creek in the rugged northern section of Panthertown Valley. You can reach the top of this waterfall with a hike of about 2 miles on well established trails. Reaching the base of the falls requires an adventure hike along the cliff lines above the creek. It is dangerous, strenuous, and should not be attempted if it has rained recently as there are many spots where you will be traversing bare rock or loose layers of topsoil over rock.
Driving Directions: From the intersection of hwy 281 and hwy 64 just east of Toxaway Falls, take hwy 281 north to Rock Bridge rd. Take a left on Rock Bridge rd, stay right at the fork, and continue 4 miles until you reach the clearing and large camp site at the end.
