The Little Tennessee River Greenway is a 6 mile out and back trail located in Franklin, North Carolina.
The greenway meanders through wetlands, railroad cuts left behind by the Tallulah Falls Railroad, alongside pastures and through upland forest. Its surface is a mix of paved and non-paved (gravel) sections. The greenway includes plenty of benches, picnic shelters, fishing piers, exercise stations, a playground with water feature, canoe put-ins and an amazing Frisbee Golf course that has 18 holes and is rated difficult. I think we’ll see much more green in the summer months.
